2025 Clearly Christian Readathon

Welcome to another year of the 2025 Clearly Christian Readathon!

Updated materials have now been shared with new graphics for this upcoming year. Christian Books and Coffee, Devoted to Hope, and I are so grateful to be able to continue this Readathon so that we can keep featuring Christian authors writing clearly Christian books.

There are plenty of resources available in the Clearly Christian Readathon Goodreads Group if you'd like to check it out!

Thanks for journeying with us for the second year of the Readathon. We can't wait to see what God has in store with such incredible stories to be told 😀

Christian Book Review Programs

Over time, I've been on the hunt for Christian book review programs that readers can join. As a result, I've been able to compile the following list which may be of interest if you are seeking review copies of Christian books. This list mostly applies to print and ebooks, although some publishers offer audiobooks as well. If further information is available for any of the publishers below (or any missing publishers), please let me know as I am happy to update this list—thank you! Review: The Final Word - Bite of Betrayal #2

This is a book where the name Miles Morgan will have you wishing he was a real person after getting to meet his character.  The Final Word  is the next book in the Bite of Betrayal series by Laura Thomas , set in the English village of Bramble Downs. Combining the opera, a bakery, a book based on a Cinderella retelling, and sisters who have each others' backs through thick and thin, there is much to explore in Miles and Sophie's story! Many thanks to  Mountain Brook Ink  for providing a complimentary copy of this book for review consideration. All opinions are my own. Content to be aware of : scenes of violence and death, domestic abuse, stalking Book Synopsis When aspiring author Sophie Brooks chooses to trade a vibrant Paris life for the tranquility of a quaint English village, she imagines her final days in the City of Lights will be magical. Sophie doesn’t anticipate a chilling encounter with an old flame—nor does she plan to find a new love on her very last nig...

Review: Not Precisely Mr. Knightley - The Silver Teapot #2

I love that I've been able to read about Dream Match, a dating app, in some of  Carolyn Miller 's other books and that I get to find out more about the origin story in this book. Not Precisely Mr. Knightley is the second book in  The Silver Teapot series , and it's exactly the type of modern world I can see Emma thriving in, complete with the opportunity to matchmake virtual strangers on a scaled up basis. Offering both potential and pitfalls, it's only a matter of time before we see Emma discover what true matchmaking is all about. Many thanks to  Barbour Books  and  NetGalley  for providing a complimentary copy of this book for review consideration. All opinions are my own. Book Synopsis Can the Matchmaker Find True Love? Emma-Jane (EJ) Bennett and Jordan Knight are longtime best friends who codesigned the immensely successful dating app, Dream Match. Success starts to go to EJ’s head when she gets caught up in the famous and money-hungry socia...
