Ho, for introducing me to the Five Little Dumplings! It's such a treat to read children's books again and to recall all that I learnt from my library days about what goes into a well-written book for younger readers. This book definitely checks those boxes 😊

Book Thoughts

What an engaging and helpful book for children to better learn about Jesus and Easter! This interactive book presents different skill-building activities for children to keep their attention, such as identifying colours, numbers, and patterns. The rhymes are simple, the illustrations are eye-catching, and the story is delightful in this educational book. The Bible verses included make Scripture more familiar, especially when paired with corresponding images. The dumplings are an adorable way for little readers to celebrate Easter. This is a book that is eminently re-readable as it can help with Scripture memorization, making the Little Dumplings a series to keep an eye out for as they go on various adventures.
